Dr Edward Bond
MBBCh (Wales), MRCG,P DRCOG (Male)
Dr Bond graduated from University of Wales College of Medicine in 2001 and then trained as a GP in North Devon. He is heavily involved in medical education, both as a GP trainer and medical student training lead. Dr Bond is the practice lead for Safeguarding Children, Coronary Heart Disease and IT. He is supported by his full time receptionist.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 daughters as well as keeping fit by cycling, swimming and running.

Dr Duncan Bardner (Senior Partner)
MBChB, DCH, MRCGP (Male)
Dr Bardner is a member of the Local Medical Committee, he is also the lead GP for IT, prescribing and Locality Commissioning at BMC. He works 8 sessions per week.
Dr Yuk-Lung Chan
MBChB, MRCGP (Male)
Dr Chan is the liaison GP for the Minor Injury Unit at Bideford Hospital. He is interested in Accident and Emergency Medicine.
Dr Richard Davies
MBBS, MRCS(Ed), MRCGP (Male)
Dr Davies is a qualified surgeon and general practitioner who has a specialist interest in Minor Sugery such as Carpal Tunnel release and Skin Surgery. He has a keen interest in family medicine and is the lead clinician for Clinical Research and Dementia at the Practice.
Dr Ruth Down
MBChB, DRCOG, DCH DFFP (Female)
Dr Down is the lead GP for palliative care and anticoagulation. She has an interest in Family Planning and Sexual Health. She is the joint Medical Officer for Kingsley School.
Dr Steffan James
MBChb, MRCGP, DCH, DFFP (Male)
Dr James joined as a partner in in 2017 and works 6 sessions. He graduated from the University of Bristol in 2008. He is interested in all aspects of medicine. When he is not working he enjoys spending his time with his family, his dog and all sports.
Dr Richard O'Brien
MBBCh MRCGP (Male)
Dr O’Brien graduated from Cardiff University in 2009 and went on to work in North Wales, New Zealand and Exeter, before settling in North Devon for GP training. He is currently working 6 sessions per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Despite his surname, he is a proud Welshman who loves his rugby. When not seeing patients, he can be found chasing his children around parkrun, riding his bike or behind his camera’s lens.
Dr Nicola Relph
MRCGP, MBChB, DCH, DRCOG, DFFP (Female)
Along with Dr Ansell, Dr Relph is one of the organisers of general practice training in North Devon, and is very keen on medical education. Her other clinical interests are children’s and women's health. She enjoys the variety of day to day work and building and maintaining good relationships with her patients. Dr Relph moved back to North Devon 6 years ago to be nearer her family, having spent her childhood in Ashreigney. In her spare time she enjoys walking her two dogs on the beach, or digging in the garden. She also loves cooking, and all sorts of crafts.

Dr Clarke graduated from the University of Bristol in 2007 and completed his GP training at Bideford Medical Centre. He is a GP trainer.
Outside of work he enjoys running and spending time with his family.
Dr Andy Brown MBE
BMBCh, MA, MRCGP (2006), MFSEM(UK), DOccMed, DipSTI, AME (Male)
Dr Brown graduated from Oxford in 1997 and spent 17 years as a Royal Navy Medical Officer before re-joining the NHS in 2015. He has special interests in vasectomy surgery and expedition medicine, especially cold weather and high altitude, and is a tutor in extreme medicine at Exeter University. When not at work he enjoys exploring the Devon countryside with his family, paragliding, growing vegetables and keeping fit.

Community Midwives
The Community Midwives team provide antenatal and postnatal care and education for patients and their families regarding all aspects of pregnancy, breast-feeding and childcare.
Integrated Children Services / Health Visitors
The Integrated Children Services / Health Visitors are trained nurses who have undergone further training in child development, psychology, social policy and environmental health. Although they work primarily with pre-school children and their families they may be involved with all age groups in a variety of settings, in liaison with other professionals.

Dr Lloyd Jones graduated from Cardiff University in 2011 and spent time working in North Wales, the Midlands and South Africa before moving to North Devon for GP training.
Outside of work she enjoys gig rowing and walking in the North Devon countryside.
